Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and NOVA RIOT TECHNOLOGIES OY for the use of Saalis. By using Saalis, you agree to them. We've written them plainly.
01The service
Saalis takes a photo you upload and generates listing text, a title, description, and relevant fields, for second-hand and marketplace selling. When you choose a marketplace, Saalis shapes the output into that marketplace's fields (for example, a structured set of fields for Vinted or eBay, or plain text for a classifieds site) so it's ready to paste. You then copy the text and paste it into the marketplace yourself.
Saalis is paste-only. It does not automate, scrape, log in to, or post to marketplaces on your behalf. You remain the seller, in your own account, following that marketplace's own rules.
02No price, no promise
Two things Saalis will never do, by design:
- It won't set your price. Saalis generates the listing text; the price is always yours to decide.
- It won't promise a result. Nothing in Saalis, its marketing, or its communications should be read as a guarantee of sales, income, earnings, or profit. Outcomes depend on your item, your price, the market, and factors outside our control.
03Your account
You sign in with your email through a one-time link, there's no password to manage. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure, and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Saalis. One account is for one user; don't share sign-in links.
04Acceptable use
Use Saalis for its purpose, drafting listings for items you're entitled to sell. Don't:
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use;
- generate listings for prohibited, counterfeit, or unsafe goods;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its rate limits;
- use Saalis to violate any marketplace's own terms.
You're responsible for the listings you publish and for following the rules of whichever marketplace you use. Saalis is independent and not affiliated with any marketplace.
05Plans & pricing
Saalis offers a free tier and two paid tiers, priced per month:
New users can try Pro free for 7 days without a card. When the trial ends, the account simply drops to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe, there's no automatic charge and nothing to cancel. Prices and limits may change; we'll give notice of material changes, and changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
06Payments & billing
Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, is the seller of record, and manages EU VAT. When you subscribe, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Cancellation and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
07Cancellation & withdrawal
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account or billing portal. If you're a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital subscriptions; details and how this interacts with immediate access are set out in our Refund Policy.
08Your content & ours
The photos you upload and the listings you create are yours. You grant us only the limited, temporary permission needed to process your photo and return the listing text (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what happens to a photo). The Saalis software, brand, and design are the property of NOVA RIOT TECHNOLOGIES OY.
09Availability & changes
We work to keep Saalis running and improving, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may set or adjust usage limits to keep the service healthy for everyone.
10Disclaimer & liability
Saalis is provided "as is". AI-generated text can contain mistakes, always review a listing before you publish it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost sales, or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, or our liability for things that can't be excluded. Where our liability is not excludable, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11Suspension & termination
You can stop using Saalis at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or misuses the service. If we close your account without cause, you keep access to any paid period you've already paid for.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes fall under the Finnish courts, without removing any mandatory consumer protections you have in your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
